Proficiency Training
Instrument Proficiency Course
We understand that life gets in the way sometimes. If your instrument currency has lapsed, we will work collaboratively with you to get you proficient once again. We offer a thorough and professional Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) that is a combination of ground instruction, simulator instruction, and flight time. The amount of training required to successfully complete the IPC will vary based on the amount of time since your currency lapsed, and your level of instrument proficiency. We believe it is imperative to thoroughly work with students to ensure that not only are they once again current, but also that their proficiency and confidence has been reestablished, as that is an integral part of safely flying in instrument conditions.
Flight Review
To ensure safety throughout the aviation community, it is required that all pilots complete a flight review at least once every two years in order to maintain the currency of their pilot certificate. Air Fleet offers a flight review course that consists of at least two (2) hours of ground school to validate that a pilot can safely be in command of an aircraft, followed by at least two (2) hours of flight. In the case of those pilots who have not flown in an extended period of time, or whose proficiency is not sufficient, we will work with you to help you achieve the required level of proficiency to safely be in command of an aircraft.
